Danielle has been dancing, acting, and working with kids all her life. She studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical throughout her youth so she learned the importance of movement at an early age. She continued to study dance, theatre, and religion throughout college. Danielle has an MFA in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University and a BA in Theatre and Religion from Denison University. She completed her yoga teacher training at White Lotus Foundation (founded in 1969).
Danielle is passionate about yoga as a form of self-care which helps her immensely as a performer. She believes yoga can be beneficial to everybody as a way to check-in with breath, manage stress, cultivate compassion, and create balance between strength and flexibility regardless of previous movement experience. She is thrilled to be sharing this healing art with children and adults alike.
Danielle does lunchtime yoga every Wednesday at John Muir Middle School. She is taking sign-ups for two Sunday classes at Luna Dance in Glendale, Story Time Yoga for ages 5-9 and Pre-Teen Yoga for ages 10-13, which start May 5th. The price is only $120 for 10 lessons!
